Consular Section staff at the British Embassy may provide appropriate assistance in certain circumstances to British Nationals visiting or living in Slovakia.

We aim to issue passports and copies of birth and death registrations in ten working days. We aim to process other documentary services applications within two working days. It may take longer if we are required to send your papers to the UK or we are legally required to post notice, for example in the case of those who wish to marry. When you submit your application you will be told when you will be able to collect your papers. You may have to return in person if you are required to sign an affidavit.
