The Press Centre deals with the media and acts as the general enquiry point for the public. We distribute press releases on important events, and arrange press briefings, interviews and articles.

The Press Centre also stocks a wide range of background material on all aspects of life in the United Kingdom.

The role of the Press Centre is to inform people in Slovakia about Britain and British policies. We do this through the Internet, publications about Britain, a telephone and email enquiries service, press briefings and interviews and other Public Diplomacy events.

There is a wealth of resources about Britain on the Internet. The About the UK section is a good starting point as it contains information on a variety of topics from life and education to travel and tourism.
